| The zafu has been used in the practice of zen meditation for thousands of years. Often translated as ‘sewn seat’, the name actually means ‘seat made from cattails’. A zafu is sat upon during sitting meditations to create a comfortable and stable body alignment for deep meditation. Typically a zabuton is paired with the zafu for ultimate comfort.

| We’ve come up with a kapok stuffed version of the yoga block which we think is superior to foam or wood blocks. | A zabuton traditionally is used under a zafu cushion to provide comfort and support when practicing sitting meditation. Our zabutons are unique in that we provide a zippered muslin inner liner at no additional charge. This allows neat and easy access for adding or removing stuffing. And, when the zabuton’s outer cover needs washing, simply pull the muslin liner out and wash the cover! More Zabuton Information |
